CHERIE MALONE
Director and Principal GIS Specialist
Cherie is a champion of change, continuous improvement and innovation, constantly striving to deliver effective spatial solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders. She brings over 20 years of GIS specialist experience in government, construction and mining in contemporary ESRI environments.
She is a trusted geospatial advisor and visionary with the ability to solve the most intractable challenges and provide valuable outcomes for clients. She is highly experienced in the development, delivery and maintenance of corporate geodatabases and implementing quality frameworks and governance and has demonstrated the ability to create accurate and engaging cartographic products and spatial analytics for planning, compliance, reporting, incidents/events and training.
She is focused on empowering clients and improving workflows with scalable desktop, web-based and mobile solutions and automated processes. Known for her grit and tenacity, Cherie uses her unique combination of specialist technical, leadership and relationship-building skills to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality results that are fit for purpose.
LIL CORNISH
Associate GIS Specialist
Lil is a highly experienced GIS professional with over eight years in the industry, specialising in cartography, spatial analysis, and the management of large and complex datasets. With a background in both geology and environmental science, she has worked extensively across government and private sectors, delivering high-quality spatial solutions.
She has a proven track record in executing and managing spatial submissions for Queensland and New South Wales government agencies, as well as developing intuitive GIS workflows for environmental management, mine rehabilitation, and land tenure projects. She is proficient in the ESRI ArcGIS Suite, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Enterprise applications, and has successfully implemented web GIS solutions, dashboards, and mobile data capture tools like Survey123 and Field Maps.
Her expertise extends to spatial data integrity, government compliance, and suitability analysis, ensuring clients receive accurate, efficient, and insightful spatial products. Whether leading GIS teams, training junior staff, or integrating advanced data visualisation tools, Lil brings a practical, problem-solving approach to every project she undertakes.
